Iodine and Potassium Iodide which together provide a stable solution with potent antibacterial properties. When using Lugol’s Solution as a coral dip, target corals with potential bacterial infections indicated by freshly damage or discoloured tissue. It works especially well at treating bacterial infections on LPS corals such as Euphyllia, Cynarina, and Acanthastrea.
